More color/character exploration for my Big Game Huntress project. Inspired a bit by Borderlands :) Can’t wait to start playing again once term’s over..
From the final project of my illustration degree… Time to ink„,
I have always admired those brave peole who draw comics… and now more than ever. This is an an odyssey… Oh my god… oAo
Geo for Melly, looking worse for wear after a brawl — thank you for commissioning me!
I could probably color this nicer but I’m tired of looking at this
it looks much better in full view uvu
Some of the paintings that myself and Scott Wills painted on Clone Wars were extremely small.
The snow key is only 1 1/2” x 2 1/2”. The further we got into the show the smaller we had to paint just to save time.
Recently did a cover for Conan the Avenger #4! It was neat to get a chance to draw the young “Cloonan Conan.”
Also I think it looks tougher to fight with a tiny knife than a big sword.
This is a piece I did last year. Due to the fact that it is now used for print at Cook&Becker I had to add more details so it holds up in a bigger format. If you’re interested you can buy one here: http://www.candb.com/en/artwork/724/robot-reflections-jan-urschel.html
A selection of Backgrounds from the Steven Universe episode: Steven the Swordfighter
Art Direction: Elle Michalka
Design: Sam Bosma, Steven Sugar
Paint: Amanda Winterstein, Jasmin Lai, Katie Mitroff, Gyimah Gariba
Woo! I liked this episode a lot. The Lonely Blade backgrounds were so much fun to design. I did the top two and the couple shots of the temple, and the bottom one is a new version of an older one I designed. Steven and Emily do such a crazy good job with the house.
Lucretia and Ilithya. I almost finished Spartacus and these two are still some of my favourite characters
Me gusssssta xD
